Camber, Caster, and Toe Settings? 2wd?
Hey guys. I'm curious if anybody knows the camber, caster, and toe setting for a 1968 2wd. What's stock and what is more aggressive? I'd like it to handle in the corners well but still not wear to much.
I also have 2" drop springs and 2-1/2" drop spindles. Does that change things? What seems to work well with 255 wide tires?

go with 2.0 deg +- .25deg caster
-.25deg : +-.25deg camber toe in -.035" +-.02" total toe -.11 to .03 thrust offset ideal 0.00" or deg(dog track)

that will give you a neutral but solid handling truck,,,, more caster gives high speed stability

Thanks Rooster's 67. I was thinking about 3 degrees camber and -1/2 to -1 degree camber. Maybe about a 1/16 toe in. What is the thrust offset??
Anyone else have any recommendations??

you dont what 3 deg camber....you meant caster right?
thrust off-set is a line drawn from the rear end thrust line thru the vehicle, if the rear end is shifted one side ahead of the other the vehicle will "dog track"or go down the road "sideways" youve seen them a car that you see more of the side than the back of while it goes down the streetthe alignment shop ccan tell you if it is offset....you probably have an adjustable track bar anyways....just triangulate the rear and it should be close for the alignmnet guy

Yeah, sorry. I meant 3 degrees caster. I tried to edit my message but the internet wasn't working right.

3 deg is a little much may give you some tire edge wear unless your doing mostly hwy driving
2.5 deg is good for mixed driving 2.0 for more city and handling caster is the angle that will "self center the wheel" after a turn, works just like a CASTER it always tries to go straight

I agree with Rooster on the numbers.
I'd be conservative with the camber. Those 20 inch tires will make you cry when they wear out. I like lots of caster because I do all freeway driving. It causes the truck to track well and steer somewhat heavy.

that exactly why I said 2.0 deg on the caster...those big meats with short side walls wear big time with large amounts of caster and city driving once agian great minds think alike.
