Porterbuilt c4 front drop member/shockwave bolt?

I have a 67 Chevy w/ Porterbuilt front c4 drop member with shockwaves I'm trying to figure out what the top shock bolt is or what I should use. The shock wave calls for a bigger bolt then the hole in the drop member bolt. I don't have any of the mounting hardware for the shock.

I know I can probably call porter built tomorrow but I thought I'd throw it out there today and I might be able to get them mounted up. Thanks in advance for any help.

The hole in the upper mount its 1/2. If you bought the Shockwaves new, they should come with two crush sleeves: one is 1/2 and the other 5/8. We have always used the 1/2" sleeve with a 1/2" bolt.

I don't see any harm in drilling the hole to 5/8 if necessary.

Re: Porterbuilt c4 front drop member/shockwave bolt?

Thank you Nate,

I bought the shocks new off eBay but they didn't come with any hardware. Thing I'll just call ride tech in the morning and see if I can get the stuff from them. Unless you have any other suggestions.

I'll be giving you a call tomorrow as well I ordered some parts from you last week and I'm gonna add to my order so hopefully you'll be able to send all to me at one time. Thanks again.
