cutting 1 coil up front
anyone got any pics of after they cut 1 coil off the front springs without dropped spindles or anything?
i got 1 leaf on the passenger sde n the back that is cracked, so i want to take that particular spring from both sides in the rear, but since the truck sits level front to back now, im afraid the front will end up higher. i need an algnment anyway so i figure why not. ill go lower once i find spindles on a week i can afford. any pics tho guys?

Re: cutting 1 coil up front
I can't offer pics with a cut coil and no dropped spindle, but it sounds like you have a good plan.

Re: cutting 1 coil up front
i have found that cutting 1 coil will lower approx 1.5 inch.
I cut 2 coils and it dropped about 2.5 inch if that helps |

Re: cutting 1 coil up front
thanks guys, helps alot. only problem now is i have to find the cracked one again. should have marked it when had t on the lift. i jacked it up today and swapped to some rallies with the rare early centercaps that look way better on my truck. i looked, i know it was on the passenger side, but couldnt find the crack. its not the overload one, but i gotta take it out.
