Clutch Size in my 1968 anyone?

I am just about ready to finish the macine work on my 383 for my '68 but need a 400 flywheel because I am running a Muncie car 4 speed behind it. I was wondering what size clutch I have in there now is?It has a 350 and was originally a 3 speed manual on the column before I put the Muncie in. Anybody know if its a 11" clutch or 10.5"? Thanks again!!

Right on Thanks. Also wondering if the 400 flywheel will fit in the bellhousing?

Re: Clutch Size in my 1968 anyone?

I have seen them aftermarket for around 120 bucks. Which I think isn't too bad is it? Thanks again for the info!

Good deal...never heard of this. The guy i sold my old 400 to was commenting on the lack of flywheels, either this is new, or he didn't research it enough. (I had also never heard of this) Just make sure that they know it is for a 400, not just a "small block".

Re: Clutch Size in my 1968 anyone?

The clutch size that came off of the 327 was 12", but that is for the 4 speed heavy duty with a 14" flywheel, 168 tooth.
