Re: Project # 999
Bought it from the original owner, has p.s.,air,auto. It has very little rust. I have not heard it run yet. Gonna be busy trying to sell parts now to pay for it. So, it will be on the back burner like the other 998. Thanks Tim.

What part of Atlanta are you in? I live in Decatur and I still have my first car, a 65 Impala convertible. Looks like a great find, let me know if you need any help, I went through basically everything on my 65.

Re: Project # 999
Nice wagon. Is it a impala or belair? Does it have the turbo hydramatic or power glide? I haven't even seen a bad one of those in years. What are your plans for it? Great find.

Long roofs rock! Get us lots of info. Great find.
I'll be jealous until you put gas in it, then I'll be happy without that bill.

Hey Tropical, I'm in Conyers off 138, nice 1 Special, wish my paint looked like that. I'll try to get more pics this weekend. Thanks for the compliments, but I can't take any credit for the condition it's in.

Re: Project # 999
He likes to roam.We called him Elmer. What`s your dad call him.He really did run off.He scratched Sam there across his eyelid and I tossed him out the door. The next day he was coming up to me carefully, then stopped and turned.Haven`t seen him since.I figure he knew he couldn`t tolerate the boy`s crap anymore and I wasn`t tolerating his. So,seeya!
Uncle,The guy with our wagon,now,bought his wife a white one.Not sure if it`s a 396,though.
