Rock and a hard spot, now what?
I have a pretty nice 70 GMC. Came across it by accident on my mail route. My grandson really liked how it drove and rode right up untill he seized the engine(350). My question is would it be worth the time and money to drop in a rebuilt or used engine to sell it or just take the hit and sell as is.Somebody out there has had to have been in this spot, what did you do and how did it work out?

It will be worth way more running and driving, even if you put a used engine. The eventual profit would outweigh the upfront costs if it is a decent truck IMO. Personally, I'd put the engine in it to sell, and then not sell it!

Depends who is paying for it and what happened to the old engine ? If grandson has to pay and help install the new engine, it might last longer.
