Starter Question
Hi
I have to hook the wires on the starter up and was wondering if someone can tell me if the purple or yellow wire goes closest to the engine block. Thanks

Re: Starter Question
Purple goes next to engine. Yellow goes to the coil.

Re: Starter Question
look real close on there, I've seen cheap imported starters that have the 2 small studs backwards.
Purple goes on S (for start) Yellow goes on R for remote... it remotly controls the coil. If you have updated to HEI, then just rip that yellow wire outta there. |
