how do you remove the factory cigrette lighter any help will be greatly appreciated

I always just stick my thumb into the socket, reach behind the dash with the other hand, unplug the wire, grab the back piece, and twist it off. Righty tighty lefty loosey applies, but remember you are facing it from the back side, so it'll be oposite from where you are sitting.
