i have a 78 c10
and was looking to make the fire wall clean.
i dont mind the booster brake and master cylinder
but i do have questions on how to put my heater under the dash
or how do you move it? i still want to have heat, but not where you can see it.
can this be done? has anyone done this? pictures? help?

if your not set on a original heater I would go with a moab heater

thanks for the pics. do u have any pictures of it in the process of being done?
like what u took out. what you put in, where you mounted stuff, etc.

a few, the new heater mounts in between the ash trash and glove box, part of the heater box is mounted to the hump on the firewall and the other is mounted to flat part of the firewall

thanks. the heater u gave me a link to, is that the only thing i need? what about those two tubes that hook into it?

for the heater hoses I going to run some fitting, 2 short hoses from the heater to firewall and then from the firewall to the motor

i ran the same summit heater, it works great but took a little adjusting to get it to fit where i wanted it. the only thing that i'm still trying to figure out is how to adapt the new heater to the original ducting. bottom line being that i need to be able to defrost my windshield in the winter.

sorry i don't have a picture, but i pretty much mounted mine in the same location as flamingbig10, except with the vents facing upward.
