New Stereo Installed!
Ok when I bought the truck it had the basic am radio and one speaker that didn't work. I ordered the Custom Autosound USA-630 to replace the original and keep the stock look. Overall I am extremely happy with this unit it sounds great looks perfect. Then I had to get some speakers into the truck. I started with 2 6x9s underneath the seat in some boxes from amazon. Nothing fancy the sound is a bit muffled but they work great with no drilling required. Then i ordered the Kick panel speaker inserts without speakers. I added my own 6.5 speakers and after some minor trimming (passenger side only) i had them in. As of now there being held in by the two screws that attach the lower vent bracket. I have not added anything extra yet they seem very stable and might just need 1 or 2 small screws added to each side. The driver side speaker just barely clears the e brake and i can still sneak around to the high beam selector. Which was a very big relief for me. After that i tucked the usb port and iPod hookup into the ash tray and I was complete. I also had to replace the am/fm antenna. Well enough talking here are some pics. And a big thanks to Wes at Classic Heartbeat for helping me get everything!

Re: New Stereo Installed!
Don't do it, your truck is too nice! I was just poking fun. My C10 is cut all the hell and made from probably 30 different vehicles, however, I have a 65 Mustang that looks to be about as factory (although fully restored) as they come, so I've been doing my modifications carefully to try to keep the factory look. I even left the AM stereo and put a modern AM/FM/CD/AUX player in the center console. What you did looks clean and as if GM could have done it
