Radio Delete?

anyone have any pic's of a radio delete installed or a good source for one.

I have some hack job conditions on my dash, and am wondering if a delete plate will be easier than reconstructing that whole mess..

thanks in advance

Re: Radio Delete?

it's been awhile since I looked, but there used to be some on ebay once in awhile. I believe the plate just clips into the factory mounting holes for the radio.

Re: Radio Delete?

would like to see one installed to know how much area it covers.

I will weld in a small piece if I need to on my lower half, just want to know soon, as I plan to start dash disassembly for paint/metalwork this weekend.

hope to have it primed by the end of this weekend (weather permitting)

Re: Radio Delete?

719 - you can see the size from the pics posted. The original mounting method had 2 spring clips that fit into the original holes on each side of the face. The original hole diameter was (i'm guessing 1 inch) used to retain the clip. The grips on the clips were at 12 and 6(top and bottom). I'm not sure how much material you have left. You may have to get creative.
