Front Bowtie
Does anyone know how to change the color of the bowtie on the grille (blue looks good and all, but red would look better)

I painted mine grabber green. Just remove the 2 nuts on the back of it. There will be flimsy metal tabs on the back that will probably break but be careful with them. YOu can then just take out the plastic piece. I used engine enamel cause thats what i had and it stuck to it just fine.

On my 70 I removed it from the hood. I will replace the grill with one that does not say chevrolet. I will also put on A smooth tail gate on. If they dont know what the truck is by now OH WELL!!!

color match
Painted mine to match the truck - YELLOW. On my 68 it's held on with 2 nuts. Scrubbed it and used a brush. I like it. Hope yours turns out okay. Scott
