Supercharger
Having an issue on my weiand 177 I put it on the dyno yesterday to do some tuning and the vaccum secondaries are not opening at all. Put a lighter spring in checked for vaccum and couldn't find anything that would cause it. Any ideas as to what would be causing this?

Is your carb setup for a supercharged application? The carb could be getting false readings or the check ball could be stuck. Personally, I switched to a mechanical secondary carb and am very pleased!!
Exactly what carb do you have?

vacuum secondary's won't work under boost. They need vacuum.

I just switched over to a 650 dp with mechanical secondaries seems alot more responsive than the 750 was hopefully get it tuned this friday, It did make 200 hp and 300 tq at the wheels at only 2500 rpm with only the primarys opening

You HAVE to use a carb set up for a supercharger... or it just won't work right.

Tuning is done, only put down 300 rwhp and 360 ftlbs. thinking on a cam swap and going to long tubes. Any input on a good cam for the 327 its making 6 pounds of boost.
