Wow! is it real expensive to have them brought over the pond? what would a truck like this go for in Germany? just curious, not trying to get into your business.

That is a nice truck too!

Re: My new 1963 SWB 5.3 Vortec Pickup

Nice purchase. I too am curious as to the cost involved in shipping over a truck. I remember a friend who was stationed there and he said it was cheaper for him to just buy something there then sell it while he was there than to ship it over and back.

But it's not like there are a ton of shops like Boris's in Germany, either.

Re: My new 1963 SWB 5.3 Vortec Pickup

congrats! Yep, I was eyeballin that thing on ebay, but too many other irons in the fire to buy another toy. Really nice truck. I had a few generic questions for way2lo2 on that and his orange truck and he was real helpful - I think you bought from a great guy and he builds really nice trucks. Enjoy.

Re: My new 1963 SWB 5.3 Vortec Pickup

Damn, that is some serious coin, but like you said, you don't have access to the level of quality craftsman for old American iron. Guess it doesn't get much better than old iron from Ohio.
