First post - good deal or not? 1972 c-20
I have a shot at buying a 1972 chevy pickup, c20 4x4 4 spd 3/4 ton, disc brakes. This truck has been owned by my dad's best friend for 15 years so I trust everything he says. Everything is original on this truck, the 350 was just rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago, and runs very strong. Even has a 2 year warranty. New exhaust. Transmission and rear end have been gone through too. The driver's rocker panel is rusted but other than that everything is rock solid. The pickup has spent most of its life in the dry eastern oregon climate. The guy wants $5200 for it. Comes with an extra set of wheels and tires and a replacement rocker panel. Paint is original and could use a repaint, but I'm not looking for a show truck, just a dependable pickup for towing/hauling and something for the mountains.

No pics yet, if I decide to buy it (which I think I probably will) I will post pics up after I get it home. I won't wash it because it is below freezing most of the day.
