did I get a good deal?

I just got a used qjet off an early 80s truck seems to be pretty clean except for the shop dust on top
heres some pics , and I spent 75 bucks on it

You could possibly have overspent a bit.
Ive picked up well used models at wreckers for $20 - $25 add to that a rebuild kit and some time...
It looks like your missing some of the linkage and choke assembly.
The hardest part ive found with Qjets is keeping track of what they have and what they dont.

Looks to be for a 79 454. I would say you paid top dollar for it.

Usually $20-25 is the going rate, but if it can be verified that it is a factory big block carburator then I have seen those sell on the forum for $75-100.
