Help Identify this ...

Building a '62 and found this at the bottom of one of the many bins of parts that came with the truck. Can anyone tell me what it is? Truck has a 5 lug conversion with a 78 front end and a 81 rear end.

that's what I do I have reassembled a lot of vehicles that someone else took apart, but I don't have one on my 65

Is it possible it is part of the fender bracing behind the sheet metal. I just don't know what the other stuff bolted to it may be. Just not sure.

I don't recognize that being from a '60-'66 and I can't think of what it would be from a '78 or a '81 either.
