Need help with Drag Link Problems...
On my 64, I bought the CPP PS kit and new pitman arm. Installed it all correctly and now the drag link is hitting the cross-member. It appears the that is the pitman and idler arm were 3/8" to 1/2" shorter, it wouldn't be a problem. Can anyone offer advice on this? Just started the truck today for the first time in a 2.5 year build and I am dying to have this thing moving...

Re: Need help with Drag Link Problems...
I'd 1st determine that the drag link is on correctly--end for end, upside down? Pics would surely help someone nail it. Did you have to drill holes for a new idler arm? It's very easy to improperly install that.
Good luck & enjoy your 'issues' that arise and that u solve. Sam |

Re: Need help with Drag Link Problems...
Did you completely remove the drag link for the install on the idler/pitman arms?
I've seen guys install the drag links upside down cause that issue before. Any pics?
