That isn't a "dropmember" though. That is a raised crossmember. Where did you purchase that one from?

Look real close and you will see the initials "PB" ... pretty sure it's a dropmember.

I've been wondering how many of these trucks with dropmembers are finished and actually get driven some. I've started driving mine quite a bit although mine wasn't built to win show trophies. It has old paint and trim, inside of the bed isn't finished, etc.

Dropmembered V3.2..another unfinished project. waiting on my porterbuilt control arms. at least most of you have probably driven a C10 truck before. I never had the pleasure thanks to this site, was just gonna lower it a little

are your heim joint adjusters all the way threaded in? You may have to cut the rack threaded ends down.(sorry for the lack of technical words) check with nate he'll help ya out

You will need to trim off some of the threaded portion of the rack and pinion. Do you not have a set of instructions? There will be a step with pics that demonstrate and explain the process. Here's a link to a pic of the "normal" amount to trim.

i had to cut a couple of inches off both sides of the threaded ends on the rack. It was in Nate's instructions. You might have missed it.
