Finished the 69 GMC stepside
Hey guy's it has been awhile since I have posted anything here for the last couple of months I have been dealing with a medical issue that has stopped most of all my process with our truck and I had lost my driving privileges over a brain tumor that was found awhile back. Well I am back to driving now and thank GOD that it was not Cancer and I am doing fine as of right now. I finally had my truck painted (well correction my wife's truck!!) and we both went with the old shop truck look and I know that I will here from alot that don't like that fake paint look but that is what my wife liked so happy wife happy life! And later on if we want we can go with another paint job that is slick and shinny it is just some more money!!! But we have had alot of good comments and had quit a few offers wanting to buy it but the better half will not even think about that we are going to have the doors painted with some kind of logo but have not made up our minds yet. Here are a few pictures at a local cruse in this weekend can you tell she is proud of here truck sitting in front of it with that smile! And a couple of it on the day we bought. Well thanks for looking and hope that I will continue to do good so we both can enjoy HER truck!!! Thanks Robert and Rita

Re: Finished the 69 GMC stepside
I think it looks great. I have been thinking about a short step for a daily driver.

Re: Finished the 69 GMC stepside
Robert my friend, you did a GREAT job! The truck looks fantastic and I like the paint job also. I'm glad I was able to help in a small way with the front wheels.

Looks GREAT!
Perfect stance. 7" and 8" wheels fit perfect. Let me know if you ever decide to sell it.

Re: Finished the 69 GMC stepside
Thanks guy's for the comments on the truck we are very pleased with how it turned out also, but it seems like everytime I say that I am finished something else comes up! Something simple a rear brake cylinder must be bad my back hub was hot and smoking so brake job this weekend! I guess you never get finished with an old truck! Thanks again guys for all your help while building it. Robert
