Quick question about new style wheels on older trucks.

Hey all, I'm sure this has probably been asked 100's of times, but are all 6 lug Chevys the same as far as the 6 on 5.5? The reason I'm asking is that I found a great deal on a set of American Racing 16" wheels that came off a 2002 chevy 1500 and I'm curious if they will fit. They are 6 lug chevy so?? Will they fit on my '87 k10 or my '87 K5?? The K10 has factory auto locking hubs and the K5 has manual hubs.

Re: Quick question about new style wheels on older trucks.

They are all 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern for the GM trucks , 4 wheel drive , Blazers etc that are 6 lug . The only problem you might encounter is that some of the later wheels are hubcentric . Measure the center bore and make sure it will fit over the axle flange in the rear and the hubs in the front .
