custom 67-72 sunroof transplant
Anyone ever seen or heard of someone cutting a sunroof and part od the surrounding metal and graphting it into a cab? Id really like to do this to my truck in the future

If you are talking about transplanting a pop up, then it might be better than an aftermarket if you can find parts for it. As far as a slider though there is not enough room for it to slide anywhere. There is a lot more than meets the eye as far as sliders,motor, and sunshade tracks.

Tim you make a great point, I honestly didnt think of that aspect of it, I would mind finding an electric popup though, just the convience would be nice

Most folks use gm power pop up from grand am's saturns & what other models have em in other cars..but i don't know it it's enuff room in a single cab to house off tha guts.

keep in mind that a sunroof in the roof will greatly devalue this truck if you ever decide to upgrade in the future and wish to sell it
