Engine face lift

I've been redoing my engine compartment. Some pics of the old and some of the new. The engine is in but not all together yet. It was too dark to take photos that night and I have been sick ever since.

Love the black covers with contrasting fins on a black engine. Very striking.

Re: Engine face lift

Hey forestb I noticed you have the same motor mount brackets that I do and in the same location. I'm putting a 96 5.7 liter engine but the exhaust manifolds hit my frame. My question is what exhaust manifolds do you have? Did your engine sit further back? By the way nice job on the engine.

Re: Engine face lift

I used to have what seemed to be a pair of stock exhaust manifolds (whatever that means) that fit fine. They were leaking so I tossed them. I am now running a set of full length hooker headers. I will try to figure out the stile.

Thanks for the complements on the valve covers.
I bought the matching air filter cover but have not got a chance to put it on yet.
