Is it possible to get a "new" odometer for a 1972 Blazer?

I'm doing a frame up....and wanted to start it new....easy math ya know.

Anyone know?

I'm sure that someone else can tell you exactly how but yes it can be done. Many years ago I turned one back for a freshly renewed cluster I had bought. I know there is a plastic retainer that you need to remove and roll everything to zero and then reinstall. Don't break the plastic though. I figured it out by just looking at it so I'm sure you could do the same. Later

It's not hard, but as Long Roof said, don't break the plastic. It's probably going to be slightly brittle since it's 36+ years old.

I've Googled but can't seem to find where I can buy a replacement one...just in case I break the plastic.

I think I'll give it a "whirl" this afternoon and see what happens.

But if it breaks.....I gotta get a new one
