My Farm Find for the day!

Well me and my wife was cruising home from church a little while ago, and I spotted a awesome ride! I pulled and talked to the older man about it, 68 6cyl 4 speed, he wasnt ready to sell it just yet but he would call me if he decided to sell it! All I could picture was me hauling my 67 on trailer behind this!!

That is very clean. I am on the hunt for one of those myself. I would like to have an A/C cab though. Pick that one up if he decides to sell for sure.

I like that a lot. Very clean. I bet it's been parked in the barn, and only brought out when needed.

Oh, cute wife by the way

She looks like she enjoys the trucks too, and enjoys that her man does. She's not faking it...unless she's just really good that way lol. That's gotta help with her being more understanding of you spending both time and money on your current truck

She goes everywhere I go an has fun.. I do the same for her too, I go and hold clothes all day when she wants!

Same here. She's bought parts.
And I've bought shoes.

It's worked for me (for us) for *41* years!

Very clean C30. I would love to have a straight 6 and split the manifold.

Re: My Farm Find for the day!

Shouldn't this have factory cab lights, being a dually C30? What year was that federally mandated?

Re: My Farm Find for the day!

That's a VERY nice truck!! If it's original that has to be the nicest survivor C/30 I've ever seen. Hope you get it. As for the wife, mine LOVES these old trucks, but she really don't like it in my shop, so she does her girly stuff and I do my manly stuff, we meet in the middle and just enjoy life. I'll die married to her! Coop

Re: My Farm Find for the day!

I'm sure the owner knows just what he has, He either bought it restored or did it himself and it came out nice! Just has to be careful with it and no reason it can't stay that way.

Factory cab lights started in '69. Beginning the 1969 model year the ICC lights were mandated. On '68-back they were this type installed on the smooth cab top.

Re: My Farm Find for the day!

You need to become a regular visitor with the owner. Maybe offer to help him with projects around his place. Don't want him to forget who that guy was that wanted to buy his truck that time. From another C-30 owner, that is a fine truck.

Very Cool '68!

You need to keep an eye out for an older trailer too...keep everything circa '68!

I hope he sells it to ya!
