Ride Height Pics...
I am about to get started in my 71 to bag the front and z it to lay frame. My plans are 2600lbs firestone bags, 2 1/2" dropped spindles and a 3 1/2" Z. Will this lay on a 29" tire? What is the biggest wheel/tire combo it will lay out on? I am wanting to see some ride height pics of about the same set-up I am wanting to run. Please explain what you have for the rear setup too, mine is still being planned. Thanks for any and all input.

Re: Ride Height Pics...
It should def layout with that much of a Z. I wouldn't do that much of a z though. I did about a 2 7/8" Z on mine and it seemed like too much.

Re: Ride Height Pics...
If you got the money go with Porterbuilts dropmember it does the samething without the hassle of messing with the frame.

Re: Ride Height Pics...
I don't have the money for that, and I would rather do some work to the frame just to learn it and say that I did it.

Re: Ride Height Pics...
I did a 2 3/4 on mine and it lays out. 3 1/2 seems kinda big did you measure to see what you need to lay out.

Re: Ride Height Pics...
I haven't really measured much yet, I am just getting the fever to work on my truck and wanted to get my plans straight. This weather sucks, and I don't have a garage to work in. As soon as the snow starts melting I am going to dig into it. From alot that I am been reading most people are right around a 3" Z. I am just curious of where the ride height would be.
7deuce, where are you located in ohio?
