60-66 pictures thread index

Back in 2004, we did not have a photo gallery available to the site members. At that time a post, How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks, was made. That thread is still alive and kicking, which is great!! However, a bunch of the images are lost due to bad img tags.

We have a site gallery available to all members. It is located at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/
The 60-66 category is located at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/...ry.php?cat=503

We ask that you go slam that gallery full of your pics.

Adding categories is no issue.. If you guys want one set up as a subcategory. Just PM Josh or Myself and let us know. We can add it in for you.

Member galleries are available in the main gallery as well. You can add your own albums, and host your project pics etc for use on this site there.

We look forward to seeing the galleries filling up.

Upload them to the gallery and then post em to the:
original 60-66 pics thread (2004 version)

And no invite? I see you finally put that hood on. Tony's truck sits good with the bags. Here's mine while pumping gas last night.

Re: 60-66 pictures thread index

My daily driver after 2 months. Lots of work to get it where it is and still lots to do. No idea on color yet, interior, or wheels. just love to drive it and see the expression on peoples faces when i rip past new cars on the interstate at 75/80MPH.

It was in the truck when I bought it, but wasn't wired up. I finally got everything (except cruise) working. Pulled all my hair out doing it too. Never again.

Those wiring harnesses are supposedly the cat's meow. I have never used one, so I can't testify to that. Idunno why, but I always do s*hit the hard way! I guess impatience or just plain stubborn. I have the vacuum operated cruise module, but recently was told it won't work because I don't have the ECM from the donor truck. Didn't know I needed it. Oh well, I got muscle memory for now. Lift foot, hover over accelerator, drop foot, hold for duration of trip. The farhtest I drive is to Nashville or Paducah anyway. No need for cruise to go an hour or less away. If I move agin, I will look into it then. I move a lot (6 states in8 years). The Army keeps my family pretty mobile. My daughter only keeps what she can physically carry (extra stuff) toys and things like that). I am blessed to have such an understanding and dedicated family. They sit patiently while I go conduct business and seldom complain about moving.

I am a long time faithful Painless wiring fan/installer. It's the only harnessses we use in our shop. I've been wiring customs for 20 years and they seem to stay on top of it.
My personal project uses the 18 circuit chassis harness, the tbi fuel injection kit and the new Phantom Key system.(thinkI added 200 lbs in just wiring! LOL)

Re: 60-66 pictures thread index

My first car was a dirt brown '70 Dodge Dart. The throttle cable was broken, but there was a BOOT LACE poked through the firewall. 318 and automatic - Pull it and you better hold the hell on! My cousin fixed it when I got it home. The blinkers we're bare wires hangin from the bottom of the dash. Touch the wire to the door sill to ground out the circuit and get the blinkies. My dad bought that car for $75 and said drive this... or walk. I drove that car for a year til I get rearended by a Bud Light truck. Needless to say, I could afford a better car after that. Haha.
