I Need Some Help!!!

Ok my signaler has been shocking me and i think i figure out the problem or what might help me figure out what the problem is. When i turn the steering wheel this relay that is circled makes a clicking sound, and then when i signal it clicks again and then shocks me. Could someone tell me what this is...what it does...and how it might be my problem??

Re: I Need Some Help!!!

I would pull the steering wheel and check the wiring inside your column, I'm willing to bet that a wire is grounding out when you signal, resulting in the shock.

good luck

I agree with Brak; I had this problem recently and the only thing wrong was my signal lever just needed tightening but you could just have a loose ground!
You will need to pull the steering wheel in order to properly diagnose.

then is does sound like the horn wire inside the column is shorted. it is fed constant power and when grounded it activates the horn relay (circled item)

Re: I Need Some Help!!!

Not exactly a "painless" wiring harness,eh?Unless you like getting shocked.

Re: I Need Some Help!!!

How`s the canceling cam? When they mess up you can get a short that sets the horn off.
