Serpentine/Power steering pump help

I ran across a deal on the brackets and accessories for the big block serpentine conversion. I have the tbi 454 with hydro boost. I have the power steering pump with the remote reservoir canister and two return lines one from the cooler and one from the hydro boost. The pump that came from the new motor is the newer style with only one return line. Could I swap the pulley and use my old pump with the reservoir. It looks like it lines up but I would have to run one of the return hoses under the frame or it would be in a very tight bind. Or could I use a tee to connect the two return lines to the pump, I am not sure how much pressure are on these two hoses. I am trying to avoid buying a whole new pump as I just bought this one a few months back. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Serpentine/Power steering pump help

You can tee the return line, most people do on hydroboost swaps.

Re: Serpentine/Power steering pump help

If the brakes act funny after installing the tee make sure the booster is on the straight part an the resivior on the other side of the straight. Sometimes it doesnt matter but that has caused some people some issues from what ive seen.

Re: Serpentine/Power steering pump help

All I did on my swap was to just put the serpentine pulley on my old pump. Thus far it works great and 800 miles without issue.
