Tranny Crossmember for TH350

Hey guys,

What are some of you using for a crossmember on a TH350. I'm running a 250 inline and have a TH350 behind it. The PO has some homemade crap on there now, but it obviously won't work. What are you using?

Hey Bryan- I modified one from a late 70's camaro for my '66. You can also check this website out- it was for a 700r4- but could use it for the 350TH.

Why "obviously won't work"? I agree that it is not a thing of beauty, but what is wrong with it functionally that you think needs fixing?

Re: Tranny Crossmember for TH350

I have no problem as long as it will work. This build is on the cheap anyway. As long as you think it will work, I'll keep it.

The crossmember is factory, po modified. If you don't think there is enough cushion, re-fab the bracket and use a stock one.
