big block header quest.
Does anyone have a clue whether headers from a 73 - 87 4wd big block will fit in a 2wd chassis ??

my dad did that but he did it with hooker headers.. i dont remember wich ones tho. but i dont see why not. unless somebody can correct me if im wrong.

Ive done it from a 82 4X4 with a small block to a 70 2 wheel drive with a small block (obviously)... they fit fine, but fine is on a curved scale, these headers were a huge nightmare and pretty much sicked.
But they did slip right in though. |

Well, I know the reverse doesn't work. I tried to use the 73-87 2wd bbc headers in my 69 K20 and it didn't work. The 73-87 4wd bbc headers did work. Sorry can't be more helpful.
