Rear View Mirror
Anyone know If I can put a 70 rear view mirror in a 72 cab? I am out of town right now, I found an 70 NOS mirror, bracket, and cover, and can't look at my cab. But I was thinking I could just drill a hole and install. And then do away with the glass mounted rear view mirror. Anybody done this before?

Re: Rear View Mirror
I posted this one a little while before you did this thread. Not the same ? but same idea's almost. I have the roof mount and going to see when I get the mirror if I can get it to fit the mount.

Re: Rear View Mirror
I'd suggest putting a length of rubber hose over the drill bit as a stop so your bit can only go through the panel. Also make sure that the screws are short enough that they don't dimple the roof out.
