Stepside side marker ?

I bought this truck awhile back. It is a 69 or 70, I can't remember. It has been parked since @1980 and seems to be all original.

My question has to do with the side markers on the rear fenders. The front fenders have the cut outs that began in '68, but the rear fenders have no cut outs and just had a reflector/ side marker screwed into the sheetmetal. I have found "ZERO" evidence that this truck has ever been painted on and was just wondering if 3/4 tons had some sort of exemption on the sidemarkers.

Anyway, I need to sell these sometime in the future, and I guess the best thing to do is sell them as 67 fenders.

Re: Stepside side marker ?

no exemption, that's a 69 acording to the grill, I'd suspect the fenders/bed was swapped out a long time ago... possibly when it was new the fenders got bashed up and the body shop was only able to come up with 67 pieces?
