Uhhhhhmmm ? for the members

Has anyone flipped the heater core over.I'm just curious since it seems like the one in my panel may have been or may get that way.IIRC the heater core goes in and the hoses cross in the engine compartment.I'm just thinking it would really clean up the routing if the hoses didn't cross in the engine bay.Seems like I could fab a bracket to hold the hoses if they didn't cross to clean up the look.
Anyone have any input?????
Surely someone has done this or at least tryed it and can tell me if there is some reason I can't.

Yeah, I've done it and works fine! I used redneck brackets (Black Zip ties, laugh all you want) and it looked fine. Just remember what size hose goes where, lol.
