Sure-Fit Fuel Cell Group Buy!
It is time for a FuelCellGuy group fuel cell buy. What we have is an 18-20 gallon (your choice) fully baffled, sure-fit, fuel cell kit. Kit INCLUDES tank, sending unit, filler neck (your choice thru the bed or 90 degree), and mounting hardware. The tank is constructed of .125 wall aluminum. If you are running fuel injection, an in-tank pump assembly is available for $230. Our regular price on this particular tank is $425. I am dropping the price to $415 + shipping for the first 5 tanks committed to and paid for. I'll drop them to $400 + shipping when we get to 10. Slight modifications can be made without incurring any additional costs. This group buy will include tanks for any year model. The deadline to sign up for the group buy will be September 4th @ 12 NOON. I will accept 50% down to secure your place in the group buy with the balance due before shipping. Please post here or send me a PM. Once again thanks for all the years of loyal support.
BTW, I had to "borrow" a few pics of ones that I have built. Kids deleted all mine. Last edited by FuelCellGuy; 08-21-2010 at 11:57 AM. |

Re: Sure-Fit Fuel Cell Group Buy!
interested how much shipped to 95993 going LSx so I would need a efi pump to support that...the 20 gallon is a direct fit bolt in? or do modifications need to be made?

Re: Sure-Fit Fuel Cell Group Buy!
SWB4x4, the only modification to the truck is removing the spare tire crossmember, other than that, drill a few holes and bolt it up. I have rarely shipped a tank in the Continental US that was more than $50.
IAFF2407, If you can help me out with a few dimensions, we can make it happen. dean jendro, Yes, they will. |

Re: Sure-Fit Fuel Cell Group Buy!
One on the left is 18 gallon. 20 gallon would be an inch deeper.

Re: Sure-Fit Fuel Cell Group Buy!
Have you done any of these for guys with porterbuilt dropmembers? I do plan on raising the bed floor a few inches also if that helps.

Re: Sure-Fit Fuel Cell Group Buy!
I don't have the dropmember installed but the frame dimensions shouldn't change. I could be wrong but I'd imagine I just need a stock gas tank probably moved higher in the frame to where only 3 or 4 inches stick below the bottom of the frame. I guess I was thinking you might have made one of these before for someone else that had the porterbuilt dropmember and could just duplicate that.

Re: Sure-Fit Fuel Cell Group Buy!
Actually, the standard tank hangs below the frame only three to four inches.....
