introducing myself
I am new to the site. Wanted to say "Hello". My name is David and I live in Marietta, Ga. I tried my first post the other day in the Suburban page...but since I have a few 67-72's...I thought I would say HI here too.
Here are a few pictures of a couple of my fun projects.... I bought the 1972 4x4 pretty much as it is. It had been restored about 10 years ago and then used as a driver...Its still pretty nice!!! Ive had it 7 years. 1972 4x4, its actually a bluish teal color. tilt wheel, tach dash, AC, wood bed, factory tint, automatic trans, HEI 31 x 10.50 on ralleys the rest are an interesting mix!!! 1972 3/4 ton Suburban throttle body,700R-4..almost complete 1972 Short fleet 4x4 tach tilt AC....10 year old nice resto 1972 4x4 Blazer 3 speed.....next project but very useable 1972 GMC 5500 dump truck....used regularly...all new...needs paint |

Re: introducing myself
Welcome from up the road in Tennessee. You should come up to the Chevy Nationals in Maggie Valley (May 5-7) with one of those beauties. You'll get to meet a lot of board members.

Re: introducing myself
Wecome to the board.Just when I move out of the Marietta/Kennasaw area tons of truckies move in and join the board.PM woogeroo from the board. He puts together Meet-N-Greet get togethers when he can. There is also a swap meet in Marietta right near Valentines day.It is at Jim R. Miller Park. There will be flyers for shows and other events in the area. Also Dallas Ga. has some good cruise nights.Try to get hold of a copy of "Ragtops and Running Boards",it has a great list of shows in Ga.
Again Welcome to the BB.
