when i get to ask questios that means there is progress!!
this is a lazy question but i know someone can give me a quick answer....the trans that is connected to the original v6 not straight but v6 in my 63 3/4 ton gmc will it bolt straight up to a small block? sorry for the lazy question..im sure i could get under and try to see but its cold out!!!

You should have the SM420 in a 3/4 ton. Very popular tranny. You will need the bell housing and clutch from the V8.
