Question Brake Problem / Help !!!!

My 86 truck had a V6 4.3 in it that I have changed out to a 406 V8. The truck is at a buddies shop about an hour away so I don't get to work on it much. It has taken about a year to swap engine and trans, do body work and get to the paint shop. Now, when I drove it to the paint shop some 6 months ago the front left disc brake locked up. So, I finally got my truck out of the paint after making them fix their crappy work. They stated that they didn't have any problems moving it around. About half way back to my buddies shop it (the front left) starts locking up again.
I figured, rusted disc, caliper problem, right? So, I put new calipers, pads, wheel bearings, and turned the rotors should fix the problem. Done, WRONG! Same problem with the front left. I have inspected the lines for pinches, none. The brakes bleed through, but once bleed the front left is locked up. Could this be a problem with the purportioning valve or what? If anybody has more brake knoledge please help!! THanks!!!!

The left caliper brake hose has collapsed internally, acting like a check valve. In most cases the hose looks OK from the outside, not showing any external damage. Replace both hoses while you're at it.
