Sat pics (12-15) can ya cut me some slack?

Whew! Can you guys cut me some slack. I've been working my tail off and time has been short. We also left the house this morning at 6:00 am and didn't get back until 8ish this evening. We had to go pick up my brother in law at the airport in Nashville and then jumped over to the mall to see Beowolf on the IMAX (Awesome!). Also cruised around the mall and did some Christmas shopping. I haven't snapped a pic all week! Well I'm not ready to give up as of yet, so I went to the building and shot a couple pics right quick. I know these aren't all that exciting but I wanted to have something to post this week. It's raining like leftover dammit outside so all these shots are indoors.

Time for a beer!

Re: Sat pics (12-15) can ya cut me some slack?

Thanks guys! I'll see if I can't come up with something better for next week. The taillights are the ECE pieces and I love em and hate em. The set in the K10 is the original set that I've been running since last Christmas. I'm on my third set in the C10. I've also had to replace the cargo light in the K10 once. It's been aggravating but I can say the guys at ECE haven't given me any problems about swapping out the units. My shop isn't really much of a shop. It's more of a storage building/pool hall. Most of all of the work I do gets done at Brian's. He's a top notch mechanic (built his first engine at 11 yrs old) and an up and coming fabricator. He's got a 72 Cheyenne Super that has had more done to it in the last two months than most guys on this board accomplish in a year! The man never sleeps! Somehow he finds time for his own projects and to help out slackers like me all while working 50-60+ hrs a week on his real job (the one that pays). All I really do in my building is the small jobs that I can handle on my own. My lil bro came over the other week and we installed ball joints in the K10. I guess that was the most labor intensive job to take place in my shop in quite some time. Brian, Chuckles can't say anything about propping up on the paint. If I recall he was propping up on the tailgate while I was shooting the see-thru shots of his truck the other week. I let him slide that time but next time I'll have to break out the ugly stick! And Chuckles if you can drink that much beer and still walk...........well...........I really don't know what to say! You do know that you're never going to kick the smokin habit if you don't lay off the cold brews for a bit don't you??

I thought since the new year is approaching I might see if I can do a "best of" thread. I'd like to go through my Sat pics and maybe pick out the shots that I liked the best from this past year and combine them in one thread. I might even see if I could have them placed in a poll so you guys and gals can vote on the one that you liked the best. If I know what you want to see more of I can keep moving that direction and stay away from what you're tired of seeing. Anywho, this has been entirely to much typing for a Sunday mornin!

Slacker! I am very disapointed in your lack to please everyone on the site with original pics!!
Ok I'm climming back under the warm blanket and I hope to wake in the morning with all this just being a bad dream.

Man I love your pics and especially your trucks. Your trucks are built the way Chevy should be building trucks now.

I think Chevy is coming out with a new song..."See the USA in a 67-72 Chevrolet."

The leftover dammit is still coming down over here.Still good shots. It must be a bit warmer there as well or the brew wouldn't need to be in the fridge.

Hey see ten.... I've got an idea for one of your up-n-coming photo-shoots. How about some pics of your shop? You might have posted some in the past, if so direct me that way, but would love to get a look at that shop.

Have you never seen anyone pop a top with a big box end wrench? What you were seeing was an action shot! My brother in law already had his popped in that pic.

Wow! She's going to drink some guy under the table someday! My dad used to give me the last gulp of his beer if I would fetch him another one. Fortunately no one took any pics or had me removed from my parents custody!
