Color of "8-350" fender badges
What color were the numbers of the "8-350" fender badges? Mine show the remains of a redish color, but I can't tell whether they were a deep red or a more orangish color.

I should have been more clear: the "8" is black, but the "350" isn't, and neither are the "holes" inside the "8." Should they remain chrome or were they painted some red color originally, as mine seem to have been?
