Re: Lets see some "High School" trucks

she aint crazy being stock but its loud as could be. The po did some big headers and made the exhaust dump behind the cab with some real small flow masters. Second day of school I almost lost my driving privilege do to "excessive engine noise"

Re: Lets see some "High School" trucks

Before I wrecked it, after I got a bed and fixed some of the rear suspension then about 6 months ago

Yeah It started to look worse and worse

built a motor my junior year, changed cams (too big the 1st time) spraypainted the bed in dads garage and got blue buggars and a headache (t shirt and jeans and a hat and boots is all i wore)

I miss the ol' truck cant wait to get back home and drive the sheet outta the ol truck

i know they say ya cant hit'm these days, but if i had a kid that said somethin that crazy it'd be hard not to guess us country folks have a we bit different taste.

my high school ride through my hole HS career(8 years ago) was a 73 k10 i put a 4" lift and some edelbrok goodys and flowmasters on. wasn't a real looker but it was a mountain goat. i beat the crap out of that truck but it got into and out of alot of sticky situations. had the oppurtunity to buy it back cheap but i dicked around to long. right after HS i got a 71 k20 with a little cammed up 350 and thats when i got hooked on power, that truck got me in alot of trouble in a short time. i dunno if i got pics.

Re: Lets see some "High School" trucks

Here is mine. These are old pics from last year but the truck is pretty much the same. Im a senoir in high school now and it gets me to school and work everyday. The kids at my school calls it the dinosaur because its the oldest thing in the student lot haha. The ol' truck sure does stand out in the sea of imports. I have a stock hood and a few other parts to ditch the street truck look and go to a somewhat original style once it gets repainted. The paint is definetly a 20 footer, so once I find the time its getting sanded down and a fresh new coat of blue/white.

Re: Lets see some "High School" trucks

This WAS my high school ride about 14 years ago. I finally have a place to work on projects again so I will be starting to pull parts from my parts donor truck in a few weeks to build this one.

Re: Lets see some "High School" trucks

My current high school truck. In senior year now, and definitely still one of the coolest rigs in our parking lot (90% Honda). Slowly making progress on the restore. In a couple of weeks a new 355 will be dropped in, mated to a 4l80e.

When I was in high school, I was sporting a '67 Chevelle SS396. I didn't get my first truck until a few years later. Of course, that was 33 years ago.
