Re: cant post my pics

It has a bit of dust on the black frame and I really had to lower the quality of the pics to get them to upload. And thanks for the comments, I'm getting closer to having it done.

Re: cant post my pics

I have a jensen multi media radio. When the screen would come out it hit the dash pad, so I made the black piece to move it out, and now the screen is straight up and down instead of leaned forward.

Re: cant post my pics

I got it out of a wrecked 1997 chevy suburban. I like it because it has a pull down concole. The mounting holes were a little narrower than the original seat. The radio looks a little wierd if the screen's not out, but Thats all I could come with. Thanks for the compliment.

Great pictures, looks like you are making good progress.

That is a nice seat. I put the same one in my '92 K-3500, it is a lot more comfortable than the original one.

Re: cant post my pics

I've got to say it, that is a great looking truck................................BUT, it seems alot of time and money have gone into it to leave those brake lines on it coming off the master cylinder.

Seems all the details have been covered but that.

More pics PLEASE.

Yah, it looks a little goofy. My dad was helping that day, and he didn't quite do them the way I told him to. I was going to change it, but we made all the brake lines, and I don't really want to make any new ones.

Trust me, not picking on you or your truck, mine were done just about the same way as yours when I rebuilt it 11yr ago. Plans are this time to replace them with pre bent line this time.

That is a NICE truck though. What's the specs on the color?

Its off the newer chevy trucks. Its called silver birch metallic. It hides dirt really well.

Re: cant post my pics

Looks like your building my truck. Same Color (looks like) Seat is close (I used 99 silverado 60/40 w.console) tank, filler neck location, bed wood, column, all pretty close to the same. Here is a pic of my break lines at the master cyl. Since I'm obviously bias... Thats a bad ass truck!! LOL

Beautiful job.....quick question....what did you use for your defrost ducts and where did you get them? I am trying to avoid buying the oem rigid style.

Thanks in advance

I bought replacement ducts from classicparts.com, super easy to install and felt stronger than oem.

What are the wheel specs, look to be 15x8's? What are the tire specs and amount of lift in the suspension?

Thanks,

Eric

Rite now they are 16.5X10 on 36X14.5 super swampers. I have new 16X10 rims and plan to go with 33 inch tires. The lift is with springs only, and is 6 in the front and 4 in the rear. Also my axles are 3/4 ton.

Re: cant post my pics

I will try to get up the pics of my cab seams that no longer exist, I welded them all up. Drip rails, door jams, and front windshield.
