I do, but I gotta start a fire to heat it up first... Not brave enough to go cut down the tree and hack it up first in this weather

i plowed snow with my grandpa's '77 on Tuesday. does that count? the past few weeks, i've been spending quite a bit on parts for my 86 lately, so this week is just pretty much a sit back and relax week.

I've gotta tighten and locktite a shock bolt out back (been clanking) and I wanna get the skidsteer started to do some snow plowing, I hope it warms up enough for me to venture outside and fire up the chainsaw to heat up the shop

I removed all of the stock garbage exhaust. I got my cab bolted on the frame & took the left tank off. I need to remove the tank splitter valve & install new hoses to it yet. One tank is enough for me. Then its on to the other million things on the list...corn

Yanked the q-jet & picked up the replacement (Still a q-jet, actually the same number.) Next weekend, I'll hook it up. Did I mention this is done on the street in center city Phila., not a sheltered garage. No, its not a big deal to swap carbs, but 2+2 does have a way of making a house smell like home. (acetone, toluene, etc.) Man, do I have garage envy!

It has been 20+ BELOW zero the last few days here...factor in the wind chill...and it got down to -40 or so below zero...friggin cold!

Of course my fiance 99 TJ decided it didn't want to start...condensation in the fuel lines/tank, she ran it below 1/8 tank of gas. Charger on the battery, two bottles of iso-heet, and some starting fluid in the air box finally got it started this morning.

I can't wait till it gets in the 20's again...might have to bust out the shorts!

I burnt my shop down

Actually, just did some smoke damage... I'll be putting a new distributer on and rebuilding my carb starting tommorow...

Also swept a good 10 square feet of soot off the roof of my shop today

I plowed some snow for a little cash!!! The great part is that the plow is my buddies and he let me borrow it for free!! $450 made in 3 hrs!! It was in the 30s today. Felt like a heatwave!!

Even though this is the wrong board I got some work done on my 72 flatbed project. I swapped the front clip for a 67 GMC clip, hung the doors and damn near got the other cab corner welded in. Another 2 months of work and she should be ready for a few coats of paint. Just trying to spice up your thread Lizzy
