So sick. I love slammed long beds. In my opinion it needs to be low or lifted. What did you do to get it to sit like that low?

I'm not a fan of lowriders or wire wheels but that truck is really nice and I can appreciate the hard work and the blood sweat and tears that was required to get that truck that nice. Great job you should be commended. Jim

Not my style/taste, but looks like some good quality work went into that truck. If you like it, that is all that matters.

As stated above, not a big fan of Daytons or other similar wheels, but your truck is an exception. I feel a kinship since I also have a long bed

Re: My 67 long bed is almost done... Whatcha think
Hi there Guys,
Here is a bit about the truck. I did the standard 5 lug conversion with power disc brakes in front and drums in the rear. As for the stance i went with the guys at BCFAB for the the level 3 airbag kit. The guys there are really good to work with and are on it if you have any questions about the installation, which I did as I have never installed an air bag system. I usually go with static drops. I did use the C-notch kit from CPP and went with the CPP 2 1/2" drop spindles with all new tie rods and ball joints. I went with the level 3 system because I wanted to use the Accuair VU4 manifold along with the AVS 7 switch hand held controller. The wheels are 20" Dayton style knock offs. The truck is running a 350 with a mild cam and headers with a 700r4 trans. I never really thought of myself as a lowrider as I have been just building them the way I want them to look. But If the shoe fits I shall wear it Here is a couple others I have built in the past couple years. |

Re: My 67 long bed is almost done... Whatcha think
I like it a lot. I do not like the how far the rear wheels sit into the bed. Build thread?
Edit: maybe it is the angle but the third and fifth pic seem to show different gaps between the wheel and the bed |
