I have a set of fiberglass saddle tanks, and straps I removed from my truck and just wondering what they are worth.

Do you have any pictures of the tanks and hardware, a manufacturer name, model number. This information would help the members come up with a price. I have a pair for this truck but I might be interested in your pair of tanks and hardware for a future project.

I'd offer $30 if they're in OK shape, but if they're really clean I'd say about $65 for both.

They fill in the fender well. I can't get any pictures now I'm at work for the next 5 days in the middle of the gulf of Mexico. As soon as i get home I'll get some pics.

I like that kind so you dont have to mess up a bedside.... I cant give you a quote. Never saw em for sale! If I saw one local I'd figure $30 bucks would be a super good deal! Honestly though for the poly ones I would probably go up to MAYBE $60 for the passenger side one, provided the sending unit is still functional and the cap still fits tight. Selling point is ya know it can be cleaned and re-used safely with minimal time/money.

I have been considering this instead of the burb conversion.

I paid $40 each for a set of steel tanks in used condition, from the local wrecking yard. They pulled 'em. I'd probably have paid less if I'd pulled them myself. I then put hours into cleaning them up. Haven't installed them yet, maybe next weekend.

I paid $75 a pair of steel saddle tanks. They need cleaned but are good. No sending units. These were designed to be used with the filler neck in the bed side. I put them on with the filler facing the rear tire. Therefore no need to cut the bed side. I use a soup can over the gas cap to keep the mud off the gas cap.
