four new boxes in the mail and a test fit

My new wheels came in today. I did a test fit on the fron and realized 5.0 backspacing will work good on my truck. I need to turn down my rotor to fit the centercaps though 18x8 front & 20x8.5 in the rear.

Re: four new boxes in the mail and a test fit

I believe the larger diameter wheels allow you to run more back-spacing. I wanted some 16-inch rallye wheels for my '96, for that very reason. Ended up going with the AR 15x7's I already had, to clear the lower control arms on my lowered truck.

I have 4-inch backspace on the front of my '69, and 5-inch on the back. 15x8's on the front; 15x10's on the back. Wheel Vintique wheels.

Those wheels look nice. Congrats. The older wheels you have rolled aside look like two of the wheels I took off of my son's '69, and recently sold.
