Re: 72 3/4 Short Flatbed
Tires are 315-75-16 ,inside ,and motor need to be cleaned from being in the garage for so long during the transformation.the truck only has 91000 original miles, and has only been driven by 2 people since it was bought new.Me,and my grandfather. The truck has been in our family since new.As far as things left to do,that just consists of basic odds and ends.I thank you all for you thoughts and would be happy to answer any questions anyone has.The truck is very special to me and I'm glad i can share it with people that can appreciate it.Thanks again,William

Re: 72 3/4 Short Flatbed
Beautiful truck! I'm still torn between whether I want to put a flat bed on my 69' or put the short/step back on. Did you build the bed?

Re: 72 3/4 Short Flatbed
Wheel base is same as stock(swb).Truck was repainted about 18 years ago when my grandfather had it.Funny thing about the color was that was the closest thing to Olive and white the painter could come up with. Not real sure what this color is called but it seems to work and is different. As far as the lift,it is around 5".I know this seems odd,but i got that due to the springs and blocks I got with the rear end.It came out of a 75 F-word 250 factory hiboy. And because of the rear spring on the Chevy,I ended upwith 5",4" rancho springs in the front with inch over shackles. I thank all of you so much for the wonderful comments.
