Re: 71 chevy parts

Possibly interested in the propane set up. Can you tell me more about it? Gas mileage, cost to fill it up, etc. Difficult to install?

Thanks

What are the wheels? Looking for 8 lug slots, but other ideas, too. Photos and price please if willing to separate. Thanks

Re: 71 chevy parts

I understand, but if you decide to break up the chassis i would be interested in the posi rear end(complete). If you look on top of the passenger side of the axle)just before the u-bracket) there are code letters. This will tell you what the letters mean, which tells the gear ratio:

Is the rear a Dana60 or Corporate HO52(Eaton)?

Re: 71 chevy parts

TKL = 4:10 gears

According to the code it is a K series. Is it 4WD?

Red face Re: 71 chevy parts

How is the right front (passenger) fender? I would sure like to find a reasonable original; straight, some rust OK.

Re: 71 chevy parts

Skid i think shipping would kill ya from WV to AB. Last time we drove the Yellowhead from MB to AB i saw a bunch of bone yards that had some 67-72's in them. I guess the road salt up there is murder......
