These heads ok?

Oleblue is not running very well.( acts like a burnt valve) I couldn't figure out the problem, so I took it to a shop and they said the valve guides were bad. I want to change the 487 heads and install a better cam. My Dad has a set of heads, He will give me. Casting numbers are 10110810, Mortec shows 91+up Gen.1 65cc chambers. You folks know anything bout'em? bolt right up?
my block is original. Thanks

you don`t want those heads. they will bolt up but you either have to get a new intake cuz the 2 center bolts are straight up and down, or modify your intake. a good set of hears are 96 up vortec truck heads. you can find them fairly cheap but again, you`ll need a vortec intake which edelbrock sells.

Also your compression would go way up causing you to have to use higher octane gas.

Thanks for the input. Think I'll keep looking for something that will match my exsisting components. Might even have the 487's re-worked. Thanks again!
