That is a different headlight. My lights do not have the little lights at the bottom. That kit has a little bulb that acts like a parking light. Kind of like the old VW lights are.

I just got a different set kinda like these off ebay, buyerzheaven was the seller, or something like that. any of the 7" lamps will work, they screw right in. mine came with the same 100/80 bulbs but the housings have a more stock appearence like a regular ole' sylvania, except replaceable H4's. oh yeah....they cost me 36 bucks shipped.
they work great once you scrape all of that blue crap off the outside of the bulb. anyone else HATE those with a passion?? plan on rewiring or cleaning all of your contacts cause these babies really pull some amps on highbeam

Also, this seller sure is pitching the part number "HID6024" as meaning "HID" as in High Intensity Discharge, which is an ultra-high voltage configuration that uses special transformers to up the voltage. I'd say it's on the edge of deceptive trade practices. Kenneth

Church;
Those aren't the ricer-type lights are they? I was looking to upgrade the truck but I don't want ricer-lights. Thanks John

greasemonkey
Big headlights and tribar headlights, diamond cut etc... didn't originate on "ricers" They have been around sense cars where in there early years. And if it looks good who cares where the idea came from. Here's a set of H4 housings from Streetbeat. They are tribar blue dots, nice. They have that old rod look.

the blue light bulbs are actually pretty good. i use cool blue bulbs in my 150 and the are much brighter. they aren;t really blue, but white. at the edges of the light beam you can see blue if they are pointed at you. much much brighter.
btw church, anything for gmc's?

I have the Hella H4 conversion now. They are 100% improvement over stock sealed beams. The blue bulbs make a big difference in light, and clarity of veiwing at night. They are not just for looks. This is why the light emitted buy "true" HIDs are purple/bluish appearance. I think when I bought my HELLA I payed something like 110.00 per housing! Took me the the bank! LOL Bought them from a local tire dealer in Montana.
yellowgmc They make GMC conversion size to I think are they 5 3/4" If so they make the tribars for them also

Looks like I will be getting some soon then, thanks Reumster and Church for clearing that up. I guess the most important thing is being able to see and be seen.
